Special Events

As a non-profit organization, the ETBA organizes several special events every year.  These events not only provide funds for the association, they also allow for networking opportunities for members.  100% of the Sporting Clays net proceeds benefit the James H. Kilpatrick Scholarship Fund.  Also, remember to click on the Parade of Homes and Home & Design tab on the home page.

Builders, Boats & Bass Fishing Tournament

Slated for the last Saturday in April, the Builders, Boats & Bass Fishing Tournament, which is open to the public, is sure to get everyone out to the Lake O’ the Pines.

The 3rd Annual ETBA Fishing Tournament will be Saturday, April 5th and you can launch at any boat ramp on Lake O’ the Pines. First cast at 6 AM; lunch and weigh in will take place at Island View from 1-3 PM.

Sporting Clays Tournament

Each August the East Texas Builders Association puts on a Sporting Clays Tournament fundraiser for the ETBA Scholarship Fund. All proceeds go directly to providing scholarships for members children. The tournament is open to the public.

The 2025 Sporting Clays Tournament will be Saturday, August 23rd @ 5H Shooting Sports, registration begins at 7:30 AM; start time is 8 AM.

Golf Tournament

Each year in October, the East Texas Builders Association holds a Golf Tournament, which is open to the public.

The 2025 Golf Tournament’s date and location is still to be determined.

Parade of Homes™

Each Spring and Fall, the Longview area Parade of Homes™ showcases the latest in home design. If you’re thinking about buying a new home, it will be worth your time to visit a Spring and/or Fall Parade of Homes™. Even if you’re not looking to buy a new home, it’s always enjoyable to go and walk through at your own pace some of the area’s best new homes. Home and Design Show

Each year in February, the East Texas Builders Association puts on The Home & Design Show at The Maude Cobb Convention Center. The 2025 Home & Design Show will be from Friday, February 14, 2025 through Sunday, February 16, 2025.
